I came to Canada as an immigrant and discovered something most newcomers only learn after the fact: the Canadian financial and business system does not explain itself. Banks, credit scores, government programs, grants, tax rules — none of it is intuitive when you arrive from a different system.
I spent years figuring it out through trial, error, and relentless learning. I built businesses. I made mistakes. I found the right advisors, the right programs, and the right strategies — often too late. And I realised that what I had pieced together over years could save someone else years of the same.
That's why I became a financial and business growth counsellor. Not to sell products. Not to push one institution's agenda. But to share what I know — honestly, practically, and completely free of charge.
